![If we had to explain our business in one picture, this would be the one ! Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality.
Here on the left we see a broken Land-Rover Defender 2.2TDCi turbocharger which was salvaged from local scrap yard. Due to the internal damage it was not fit for reuse in its original condition, so we decided to bring it up for a new, better life !
It was fully disassembled, treated with latest metal surface restoration equipment, all the standard internal parts were replaced by new and upgraded bits.
Compressor wheel was precisely machined to fit oversized billet compressor wheel, core balanced to 150,000 rpm and complete turbo flow tested and set to flow 20% more exhaust gas !
This turbo is in stock and ready for a new owner 🙂
Fitment: Land-Rover 2.2 TDCi 90kw - 122HP [ Duratorq ] 2011 -
Estimated power output 220-240 BHP.
Comes with full gasket kit.
