FALCON TURBOS Plug & Play upgrade turbocharger for Land Rover Discovery Sport, Velar, Range Rover Evoque 2.0D
This turbocharger was fully stripped, standard parts replaced with following upgraded parts:
- Billet compressor wheel with extended tip
- Brand new “HELLA“ actuator
- Large-pad stainless steel thrust pad & collar
- 360° bronze thrust bearing
- Step-gap high temperature oil seals
- Balanced on ”TurboTechnics” VSR400 rig, to a higher than standard 180,000 rpm
- Flow tested and set to 15% more exhaust gas flow for lag reduction and smoother boost.
Essential requirements while fitting Falcon upgrade turbo:
- New high-quality oil and oil filter.
- Brand new oil feed pipe from dealers.
- DPF cleaning or replacement
- Turbocharger fitting kit [provided with this turbo]

Every Falcon turbo is fully stripped and rebuilt in Sheffield, not resold from a box. Standard internals are replaced with upgraded parts, then each unit is balanced and flow tested before it ships — so what bolts on is measurably better than the part it replaces.

Common questions
How do I know this is the right turbo for my car?
Check the OE number stamped on your existing turbocharger against the fitment table above. If it reads LR140581 or JDE36863 this is a direct replacement. If you cannot read the number, send us your registration or VIN and we will confirm it before you order.
Do I need a remap after fitting?
No. This unit is built to run on the factory map as a direct replacement. A mild remap will let you use more of the extra airflow, but it is optional, not required.
Is it a straight swap for the original?
Yes. It uses the factory mounting points, oil lines and exhaust flange, and the fitting kit is included. No custom piping or manifold modification is needed.
Do I have to send my old turbo back?
Not for this listing — it is supplied outright, with no surcharge and no old unit to return. Some listings are sold on an exchange basis and say so clearly on the product page.
What does the warranty actually cover?
12 months against manufacturing defects, provided it was fitted by a qualified technician and the requirements above were followed. Oil starvation from a blocked feed pipe is the most common cause of failure and is not a manufacturing fault — which is why we insist on a new feed pipe.
