MHI 49335-00620 STAGE 2 hybrid upgrade turbocharger for BMW 120D 220D 320D 420D 520D X1 X3 2.0D N47D20 184BHP engines
- 56mm customer made lightweight billet compressor wheel
- TD04 High-flow shaft wheel
- Brand new HELLA actuator
- Large-pad stainless steel thrust pad & collar
- 360° bronze thrust bearing
- Step-gap high temperature oil seals
- Balanced on ”TurboTechnics” VSR400 rig, to a higher than standard 180,000 rpm
- Flow tested and set to 15% more exhaust gas flow for lag reduction and smoother boost.
To achieve best results and optimal boost, You would need:
- Bigger, front mount intercooler.
- EGR blank / delete
- DPF delete or full stainless exhaust system
- Upgraded air filter
- Custom ECU tuning
Other essential requirements while fitting Falcon upgrade turbo:
- New high-quality oil and oil filter.
- Brand new oil feed pipe from dealers.
- Turbocharger fitting kit
All work has to be carried by professional garage or qualified technician.
Power output from turbo with supporting mods: 240/260 BHP

I would highly recommend falcon turbo developments. They Were Absolutely flawless helping me out with my hybrid turbo , I was contacted and told the turbo I was looking at was actually not supported on my model and they were quick to help me sort the correct one out . The turbo arrived packaged very well and everything that was listed was there . I’ve also had a few questions that I needed addressed and they were so quick to reply and help me with any other information I required for my build , I am 100 percent satisfied with falcon turbo developments, I would not recommend any other business for hybrid turbos !
